Sexual orientation
(These follow the UK Equality Act 2010).

Inclusive Environments: Clubs, leagues, and competitions must promote a culture where diversity is celebrated.
3. Practical Responsibilities

The FA: Must provide leadership, guidance, and monitoring on equality.

County FAs, Clubs, Leagues: Must adopt the Equality Policy and embed it in their rules, activities, and behaviours.

Coaches & Volunteers: Must promote inclusion, challenge discrimination, and be role models.

Referees & Officials: Must uphold fairness and ensure games are played in a respectful environment.
4. Disciplinary Action

Discriminatory behaviour (on or off the pitch) is treated as serious misconduct.

Sanctions may include fines, bans, points deductions, or suspension of club affiliation.

Cases are dealt with under The FA’s Disciplinary Regulations.
5. Support & Reporting

The FA provides support and reporting channels for discrimination or abuse.
